LaLa Land here we come

We're off on our trip to Disneyland tomorrow. I still can't believe that we actually are going. Dan is not very good at going to amusement parks, dealing with the crowds, long lines, and overpriced food. However, we thought that if you stayed right there in one of the Disney hotels, that he could escape when he found his blood pressure rising and his mood becoming dark. We're keeping our fingers crossed that this strategy will work, otherwise we're in for an unpleasant few days.

We will also be meeting Chelsea's "boyfriend" for the first time. They've been communicating for a little over a year. He seems like a nice boy. We plan on heavily supervising their time together. This is probably the most difficult decision we've had to make as parents because it requires us to let go and trust that all we've taught her up until now has had an impact on her.

We'll also meet my mother and sister for dinner one night which will be a nice break from the Disney experience.
